The Good Design Store is the trading name of The Good Design Store Limited and herein may be referred to as "The Good Design Store", "We" or "Us". As used herein, "Customer" and "You" shall mean the person or organisation who takes possession of the products and any other person or organisation to whom charges are to be billed, all of whom will be jointly and severally liable hereunder. 

The Good Design Store website, products and related services are made available to you subject to the following Terms & Conditions:

Acceptance of Terms  

Use of our website and/or placement of an order with us implies full acceptance of the Terms & Conditions as stated hereon and implied.

Modification of Terms

From time to time, we may modify these Terms of Service by posting changes to our website. Your continued use of or access to our website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Price, Currency & GST  

All prices on this website are in New Zealand Dollars and are inclusive of 15% Goods & Services Tax (GST). Prices do not include freight charges. Orders will be processed in New Zealand Dollars. Payments are not accepted in other currencies. The Good Design Store reserves the right to change prices of goods advertised on this website, without notice.

Payment & Security

The Good Design Store uses Paypal to process online payments. Paypal processes online credit card transactions securely for thousands of merchants globally, providing a safe and secure online payment service. Bank Deposit / Direct Debit Payments may also be arranged by contacting us. Your goods will be held for 3 working days from date of order for payment to appear, if it does not then the order will be cancelled & goods placed back into stock. Payment by an authorised gift voucher is also accepted. Only one voucher can be redeemed per order.

Orders will not be accepted or dispatched until payment is received in full. Once payment is received by us you will then receive an email to your nominated email address confirming acceptance of your order. Should we be unable to obtain authorisation for your payment then we will contact you to rectify this.

Privacy Policy

To complete your order we are required to collect some details about you. These details are used exclusively for processing and dispatching your order. Any information we collect about you will be stored securely. The Good Design Store will not sell, share or pass on your information to any third party in any form without your express permission. When you place an order with us we use secure payment facilities to process all online credit card transactions. These transactions are protected by a secure, encrypted connection to ensure they cannot be intercepted by a third party. No credit card details are held by The Good Design Store. 

The Good Design Store sends out a monthly email newsletter. Subscription to this is through our sign up page and can be cancelled at any time. If you have signed up to our mailing list and would like to unsubscribe simply click on the unsubscribe link you will be removed immediately. Any details held for the purpose of sending email newsletters are also covered by our privacy policy.

Promotions, sales and discounts

All promotions & discount codes are issued at the discretion of The Good Design Store. Promotional offers, sales & discount codes will not be extended beyond the specified end date. Promotional offers & discount codes can only be used once per customer per promotion, unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to cancel any order which has unauthorised use of a discount code.

Online product availability

All items are subject to availability. The Good Design Store makes every effort to keep a sufficient inventory of the products offered on its Website. However, the availability of these products changes daily and is not guaranteed.  If we are unable to deliver a product you will be notified as soon as possible by e-mail or telephone. If such is the case, any amount charged to your credit card for products, including delivery charges, will be credited as soon as possible. The Good Design Store waives any liability in the case of inventory shortages.

Errors, inaccuracies and ommissions

Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). We also cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you.

Limitation of Liability

Customers use this website at their own risk. We will not be liable for any loss or damage (direct or otherwise) suffered in connection with use of this website or of any linked website or customer’s use of, or reliance on, information contained on or accessed through this website or any linked website. The Good Design Store shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss whether this arises from breach of duty, breach of contract, negligence or any other way.  We shall not be liable for delay or failure to perform its obligation if the cause of delay or failure is beyond its control including suppliers not supplying their products or services on time. Liability for any claim shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied.
